Main Street of Moscow in the Tverskoy District of the Central Adminstrative Okrug

Tverskaia Street extends from the Manezhyana Street to Triumfalnaya Square. In the first half of the 20th century, Tverskaia Street was widened and significantly rebuilt, under the The General Plan of Moscow Reconstuction. In 2012, Moscow underwent a second reconstuction of Tverskaia Street involving the pavement of new sidewalks, installation of lighting, and decorative gardening elememts like benches and flowers. Today, Tverskaia Street is known to be one of the most expensive retail shopping locations in all of Russia.
