Square in Central Moscow

Sukharevskaia Square is located in the Meshchansky District. The construction of the Sukharev Tower in 1692-1695 was divided into two parts one being, the Malaya Sukharevka Square in the mid-19th century. In 1934, the Sukharev Tower was demolished, and the entirety was renamed Kolkhoznaya Square. In 1939, it was redivided into Malaya and Bolshaya Kolkhoznaya Squares, and later in 1994 they were returned to their historical names of Sukharevskaya.
