ERMALAEVSKII LANE

Lane in the Central Administrative Okrug of Moscow

Ermalaevskii Lane stretches from Spiridonovka Street to Trekhprudny Lane, between Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street in Bolshoi Patriarch’s parallel. The lane was named after a church in between houses No. 21 and 23 named after patron Saint, Ermolay. In 1961 the lane was renamed Zholtosky Street, after architect I. V. Zholtovsky, who was a frequent visitor of the street. The name was returned to its original state in 1993.
