BORBA SQUARE
Square in the Central Administrative Moscow District
Borba Square is on the border of both the Tverskoi and Maryina Roshcha District. The former name of the square was Aleksandrovskaya Square, after the founding of the Aleksandrovsky Institute for Noble Maidens there. It was renamed in 1918 in memory of the October 1917 revolutionary battles in the area. The square is a combination of Perunovsky Lane, Dostoevsky Street, and Obraztsova.
