Moscow State University is the tallest of the seven skyscrapers built, and until the 1990’s stood as the tallest building in Europe. The main building of the university is 32 floors tall and was intended to house “23 general lecture halls, 125 group auditoriums, 350 educational laboratories, 350 scientific laboratories, specialized laboratories with a total area of ​​11 thousand square meters, and residential premises for 5,250 students and 750 postgraduates. The building is divided into sectors to distinguish separate purposes and features. The construction of the this main building of the university supposedly cost 2 billion, 631 million and 200 thousand Soviet Rubles.
