Architects: Mikhail Posokhin and Ashot Mndoyants

1948-1954

The Apartment Building on Kudrinskaia Square was built as one of seven skyscrapers erected in honor of the 800th anniversary of Moscow. The central section of this building consisted of 33 floors, with 452 apartments inside. The side buildings were 17 floors and housed both public and commercial residences as well as personal apartments. A unique feature of this building is its stained glass windows, which are located in the halls above the 14-passenger elevators. Real estate in this building is quite expensive, and in 2018 all apartments were said to be worth between 350,000 thousand USD (30 million rubles) to one million USD (90 million rubles.
