KRASNOPRESNENSKAIA METRO STATION

Located on the Circle Line

The Krasnoprenenskaia Station is located between the Kievskaia and Belorussskaia Stations. The station was opened on March 14th, 1954, and named after Kranaia Presnya Street.  In 1955, on the 50th anniversary of the December Uprising of 1905,  a sculpture called “Druzhinnik” was installed in front of the niche of the rotunda of the vestibule. Since June 13, 2007, Krasnopresnenskaya station has been named a cultural heritage site of Russia. .
