Central Pavilion (No.1)
The display of the general achievements of the republics was built out in the Central Pavilion of the Exhibition, which also ended its connection with the pavilions of the Union republics. For the 75th anniversary of VDNKh, restoration work had begun at the exhibition pavilions of VDNKh. Work was completed on 48 buildings and objects, including architectural monuments – the Central Pavilion. “The Main Exhibition of the Country”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of VDNKh, the high relief of Yevgeny Vuchetich “Glory to the Soviet People – the Standard-Bearer of Peace!” was rediscovered in Pavilion No. 1 “Central”, which had been hidden from the public for over 50 years.
