Street in Central Moscow

Blagoveshchenkskii Lane is located in the Presnensky and Tverskoi Districts. The street was called Cherny Pereulok after the merchant Cherny, one of the homeowners of the late 18th century. In the beginning of the 19th century, the lane was renamed Blagoveshchensky after the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Blagoveshchensky Lane starts from Trekhprudny Lane and ends at Tverskaya Street.
