CHAIANOV STREET

Street in Central Moscow 

Located in the Tverskoi District, Chainov Street extends from the First Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street to Veskovsky Lane. The street was named in honor of A.V. Chainov, a scientist, economist, and founder of the scientific school of agricultural economics. Chainov Street was created in 1966 and originally called Gottwald Street, after a Czechoslovak communist activist, Klement Gottwald. The length of Chainov Street is approximately 750 meters.
