The Arbat Metro Station is located between “Aleksandrovsky Sad” and “Smolenskaia.” The station was first opened on May 15th, 1935, and is named after the street it’s on. The first opening was part of a project in Moscow, containing 13 metro station openings. People describe Arbat as a rather quiet metro station due to the lack of transfer opportunities, and the station usually only carrying around 12,ooo passengers a day.
